Building software. Still moving information between tools.
At Redframe, we build websites, integrations and software for customers. For our own work, we used different systems for projects, customer management, knowledge and phone calls. Each helped with part of the work. We had to organise the connections ourselves.
An appointment was in the calendar, its background in a conversation and the quote somewhere else. We built integrations and adapted templates. That helped, but needed maintenance. With a new customer or process, part of the setup started again.
We wanted to continue from what was already known about the customer and job. And to configure a system around the work we actually do.
It has to work in the office and at the customer's site.
Hygienic, the company behind Bureau voor Dierplagen, recognised the problem. Office staff work with technicians at customer sites. Customer details, inspections, quotes, scheduling and invoices passed through different systems.
When a customer reported an issue, the office needed earlier agreements. The technician needed the location, work order and previous findings. After the visit, photos and advice had to be available for follow-up. Those handovers involved a lot of searching and re-entering information.
Paul and Kasper met through a customer project. While working together on Hygienic's work orders and customer processes, we saw how closely our questions resembled each other.
Work differs. The software needs to adapt.
An inspection needs different details and stages from a website project. Rental businesses work with assets, reservations and maintenance. Installers work with customer locations, technicians and work orders. Adding an extra field alone does not address that difference.
We are building SideIQ with views you can adapt to your work, using your own data, statuses and relationships. We call them collections. For you, they might be work orders, customer projects or properties.
AI helps suggest an initial setup and prepare work using the relevant information. You review the proposal and stay in control. You do not have to start with an empty view.
Building together, close to everyday work.
Redframe brings software development experience. Hygienic brings the daily work of a service business. Bureau voor Dierplagen is one of the businesses where we test SideIQ in practice. Questions from the office and technicians help us decide what needs attention.
Conversations with businesses in other industries show where work differs. What one organisation calls a project, another calls a job, an asset or a candidate. We want the setup to reflect that familiarity.
SideIQ is in early access. Parts of the platform are already in use; others are in development. During an introduction, we discuss what is available and what fits your business.
